E-421 was delivered to Aalborg, Denmark, on 22 June, 1956, for service with Eskadrille 724. Nearly 20 years later, E-421 returned to HSA. With her flying days over, the F.51 was used by the BAe Apprentice School at Kingston before coming to Brooklands.

WV395 is a composite aircraft with the rear fuselage and fin from WV395. The wings are from XE584 with the forward fuselage from ex Danish Hunter F.51 E-410. The aircraft is in the markings of Hunter F.4 WV395 '69' of 4 FTS at RAF Valley.
