Germany's re-unification day was a good occasion to visit this former Soviet AF airfield and seeing a East German MiG-21. This particular a/c had its entry into service on 02/08/1966, end of service in October 1990 with the re-unification of Germany.

This MiG-21 was previously in service with the former East German AF as '738'. It is now preserved at Speyer, wearing Indian AF markings.
