Back to the International Airshow '94 at Middle Wallop, this Scout AH.1 stood out for me, love the dust cloud and the line of Bedford trucks in the background. I think this was her first year with the AAC / Historic Flight.
In the early '70s XV127 served with 655 Squadron, AAC. The Scout (coded 'T') was on static display at the Gütersloh Air Show, held on Saturday 29th July 1972. The Squadron was based at Detmold at that time.
XP910 is on display at the Museum of Army Flying at AACC Middle Wallop. The Scout served in Germany with 18 Flight at Gütersloh and 655 Squadron (Detmold). With 658 Squadron, XP910 was damaged in an accident at Netheravon on 13 September 1989.
Preserved outside the 660 Sqdn building at Shawbury. The plaque behind reads - "In memory of all personnel who died whilst in the service of 660 Squadron"
