A beautiful Hawker Hurricane performing at the 2009 Oostwold airshow. This plane flew during the Battle of Britain and shot down 5 enemy planes, until she was damaged on October 22 1940. She was rebuilt and mainly used for training until s.o.c. in 1947.

Hurricane Mk.I R4118 was delivered to 605. sq. "County of Warwick" at Drem on 17.8.1940. During the Battle of Britain it flew 49 sorties from Croydon and shot down five enemy aircraft! Is it the only Hurricane from the Battle of Britain still flying.

The Alpine Fighter Collection's Hurricane was restored in the UK by Hawker Restorations Ltd. Keith Skilling took P3351 to the air again on 12 January 2000 from Christchurch Airport. P3351 is in the colours of 73 Squadron during the Battle of France.
