Wearing a relatively early colour scheme and FC-984 'buzz' code this Convair F-102A 'Deuce' was on display at the Wings Over The Rockies museum in Denver in September 2009.
56-1401 is actually a PQM-102A from the Pave Deuce program. After serving with a number of ADC and ANG units it was converted to a drone in August 1973 and survived only to 20 Aug 1975, when it crashed on takeoff at Holloman.

The 152nd Fighter Squadron of the Tucson based Arizona ANG operated the F-102 'Deuce' between 1966 and 1969. This preserved F-102A proudly guards the main gate.
Formerly operated by the 118th FIS / 103rd FIG Connecticut ANG this 'Deuce' arrived at MASDC in 1971. Sixteen years later she was on display on 'Celebrity Row' minus any preservative cover or spraylat and was looking distinctly weather-worn.
