I had a super time at the Hermeskeil museum. The sun was warm, the planes were super and the view of the countryside from the hill was impressive. Just to walk around these these old planes taking lots of detail shots made for a thoroughly worthwhile trip
Texas ANG from San Antonio, just arrived for BDRT duties. I still remember standing at RAF Mildenhall a week or so earlier seeing about 6 F-4cs taking of from RAF Lakenheath to go to the various USAFE bases for BDRT duties !
