In a tight static at Mildenhall 25th May 1991, USAF F-4G 69-0259 operated by the 81st TFS / 52nd TFW. She was later converted to QF-4G standard and was operated by the 82nd ATRS and was written off 23rd May 2000.
A very rare DF-4J BuNo 153084 as PMTC '40' pcn 8F 199 which was retired July 1985. She may be well known to many here because from 1972 to 1973 she flew with the Blue Angels! Sadly her history didn't save her and she was scrapped by HVF WEst in May 2012.
An unusual sight in the static at the 1989 IAT, this F-4C was a BDR trainer at Fairford. She still wore markings for the 123rd FIS, Oregon ANG and was named 'Red Baron'. She is now preserved at the Midland Air Museum, Coventry.
