(A newly restored Tomahawk on display. This aircraft was delivered to the RAF as Tomahawk Mk. IIb AK295 and was one of the first 3 P-40s to be transfered to the Soviet Union in 1941)
This Kittyhawk was manufactured in 1943 with USAAF serial '42-104827'. It later served with the Royal Australian Air Force as 'A29-414' where it was operated by 78 Squadron in New Guinea. It is now part of the Vintage Wings of Canada collection.

TFC staff applied a Vargas-style lady to the starboard side of White 17’s rudder, similar to the work of art seen on a number of war-time 79th FG Warhawks. The P-40F is piloted here by Stephen Grey.
