Another A-10A 'Hawg', most likely an OA-10A, again the 23rd TASS on the ramp at Davis-Monthan AFB. With special '602 TAIRCW' titles which I understand means Tactical Air Control Wing.
Photo taken from the USAF tour bus at Davis-Monthan AFB as it drove past the active ramp prior to entering the AMARC storage area. This OA-10A with 'NF' code which I believe was operated by the 23rd TASS out of Davis-Monthan AFB. Now in store in AMARC.
When photographed on a tour in November 1989 this A-10A wore fin markings denoting the A-10 squadrons operated by the 355th TTW. This 'Hog' entered AMARC in April 1992.
When photographed on a tour in November 1989 this A-10A wore fin markings denoting the four A-10 squadrons operated by the 355th TFW. This 'Hog' is now preserved at Osan AB, South Korea.
This 355th Wing A-10A 'Hog' was photographed on the Davis-Monthan ramp early on a sunny morning in November 1989. Just two years later she went into store in AMARC.
Taken at the 1990 Leuchars airshow on 22nd September and is believed to be A-10A 79-0221 marked as 'Freddy's Jet', of the 510TFS/81TFW then based at Bentwaters. She is now in store at AMARC.
