The Swiss Hunter trainers were used as ECM aircraft. The additional chaff/flare dispenser can be seen on the outer pylon.

The Hunter F58A was a secondhand series of Hunter acquired by the Swiss AF. Most F58A's were scrapped in the early nineties.

In 1994 the very last exercise was held at Interlaken. In the background is the Hunter flightline where all participating aircraft were parked. J-4087 is still flying as HB-RVU.

During the early nineties the Swiss skies were black with Hunters. It was not uncommon to see more than ten flying a day. This came to a sudden halt when the Hunter was withdrawn in 1994.

This red paint lasted just one day. Hours after the disbanding ceremony of Fliegerstaffel 2 the paint was removed again. J-4138 was wfu September 1993 and scrapped.
