On display in the airshow static at the 1996 Airshow Twenthe, this Sea Harrier FA.2 was operated by FAA 899 Sqn. She is now recorded as preserved in Auckland, NZ.
A Royal Navy Sea Harrier FA.2 on a rainy static display at the 1996 Twenthe airshow. A few months later (16 Sep 1996) this plane collided with RNlAF F-16A J-139, losing its radome, radar and port stabiliser in the accident. (scan from print)
Collided in a mid-air with a Dutch Viper over the English Channel. Both aircraft recovered safely at Yeovilton. Damage caused to the F-16 was loss of a part of the port stabiliser, and the Harrier lost its radome. Eventualy beyond repair and scrapped
