Flying around now as RF-94105, 06 RED was one of two Blackjack's named after "Il'ya Muromets" - an epic hero of russia. Picture was taken at a time when the Russian Air Force experimented with different new insignias, like the double eagle on the tail.

Flying around now as RF-94105, 06 RED was one of two Blackjack's named "Il'ya Muromets". 05 RED was the first with that title, but was renamed to "Aleksandr Golovanov" later. In the background you can see the full white's 02 and 01 RED.
