PA474 represents Lancaster B.I DV385/KC-A "Thumper III" in service with 617 Squadron from November 1943, at Coningsby and later Woodhall Spa. In the autumn of '44 DV385 (coded 'KC-V') took part in the raids against the Tirpitz. DV385 was scrapped in 1946.
