PA474's starboard side represents 50 Squadron LL922 'T' as flown by F/O Douglas Millikin, DFC, grandfather of current OC BBMF Andy Millikin. On return to Coningsby the No.4 Merlin (starboard outer) had to be shut down and the propeller feathered.
