I have to agree, that does not look like Fairford.

Yeah,it does look like somewhere in the gulf i suppose with the dune like appearance in the background.
It was taken ten years ago when there was a lot of construction going on,maybe wrong here but it could have been from the building of the climate controlled hangars they use for the U2 rotations.
