The Dassault-Breguet Super Etendard is a French carrier-borne strike fighter aircraft designed for service with the French Navy.
The Super Etendard is a greatly revised Etendard IVM, with Atar 8K50 engine, new wing, and updated avionics including Agave radar. A single prototype was built, followed by 71 production jets for the France Navy (Aeronavale) and 14 for the Argentine Navy, for a total of 86 jets.
Super Étendard Modernisé (SEM) in the France Navy were upgraded consecutively through four "Standards" to provide such features as improved avionics, including Anemone radar and a new RWR
