Hi All, I've currently got a Pentax K100D, 18-55mm, 70-300mm and am looking for a lens with a max focal length of over 300mm. Has anyone got any suggestions of what i can get to fulfil this role with out spending over £500.

You could probably pick up a 2nd hand 'Bigma' (Sigma 50-500mm) for under £500.00.

Hi Martin,
I used also an "Bigma" 50-500mm in Al Ain 2007. For me the "Bigma" is an nice weather lens! And one other thing... This is not the regular Sigma Problem!!!: After an week I send my 50-500mm back to Sigma. The Zoom dosen´t work after 400 Pictures! Four weeks later I get an new "Bigma".
