I just thought about how great it would be to wear an "Airfighters.com" Shirt or Cap..
I think it wouldn`t need to run a shop like Airliners does. We could ask, how many Users would like to have such stuff, and we could create a design. F-14 Tomcat 4-ever!:) |

Hi Jason,
I had thought about it, but felt it was a little too early to introduce anything just yet. But if you guys want T-shirts and caps, I'm all for it. If the members want to design something, we can go with one of those, or we can go with one of my designs. So, if you're interested, please let us know and that will give me an idea of how many we'll need. Printing one T-Shirt is very expensive, and many shops have a minimum of how many they'll print. The more we order, the cheaper it will be. Setting up a shop where you can order, is not a big deal. I'm actually in the process of setting up a PayPal account anyways for the site as I'm thinking of offering a couple of other services to help pay for some of the hosting fees which have really gone up since the move to the new host. Sounds good to me. Paypal make it easier for most people to pay and for Airfighters easier to receive :-) I'm interested to see the designs.

Uhm, if it has to be only on one side, I would prefer the front.
If you would like to print on both sides, I would prefer a small logo on the front, and a bigger logo, or picture on the back. F-14 Tomcat 4-ever!:) |

Yup, it can be done. Maybe a small round AIRFIGHTERS.COM on the front, left side, and a full image on the back.

Same here, the front, either a big logo or a nice small one on the left. I would like a nice long sleeve shirt, couple of cool options like that would be nice.

Great idea guys! I'm living in a cold and wet Netherlands, thus requiring long sleeves... Background color for the shirt should be black in my opinion. In accordance with the site's homepage. Since it used to be my job, I'm willing to think about a design. Maybe others do too...

Hi Pete,
Yes, the shirt(s) will be black for sure. I was thinking of having something very similar to the logo at top of the page. Two jets coming out of a good amount of vapor with a camera lens in the middle. Then having one come out of the lens directly, maybe. There will be a big "AIRFIGHTERS.COM" directly underneath it all, running the span of the whole image. The "AIRFIGHTERS.COM" should be shinny metallic. The size has to be 12"x12" or 2100px x 2100px. It doesn't have to be a square like that, it just has to fit in that size limits. Anyone else besides Peter willing to give it a try? Then we can all vote for the winner or winners at the end? -Ray |

But Yeah, black, long sleeves, I'd go for that, and a nice small logo, not one that covers the whole back but a nice maybe 10 cm (4" to 5"  Mm.... maybe the websites url on the back (not too big).I'll even go as far as saying that if I like it I'll buy it AND wear it to the RIAT 2008 and the Dutch Open Days at Leeuwarden. Tom, RIAT 2008 is going to be blistering hot right in the middle of summer. But then again, being in England, it could be soaking wet. I'll see what I can do but definitely 2 versions of the shirts will be available.

Hi all,
Ok, I've been spending most of the weekend getting the images ready for the shirts. I've chosen CafePress to handle the printing and sales of the shirts to make it a little easier on me. Also, this way, I don't have to come up with almost $2K up front to get about a hundred shirts printed. Printing on dark T-shirts is expensive in general, so costs will be a little higher than white shirts.
