Nice videos, Carl! Thanks for sharing. Luckily the F-5s are still around. How many more years can we expect the F-5s to be in service?

Thanks Ray. Under the Air2030 program the Swiss Air Force will replace its existing fleet of 30 ‘legacy’ F/A-18C/D Hornets, scheduled to be withdrawn in 2030, as well as its aging F-5E/F Tiger II jets. They ordered 36 F-35A. The new F-35As are expected to arrive in the country from 2025 onwards.

Many surplus F-5s were sold to the USN. See here : https://defbrief.com/2022/07/17/us-navys-artemis-upgrade-for-ex-swiss-f-5-fleet-enters-production/

Oh, so the F-35s will replace everything. That seems to be the trend but I don't think the F-35 is the be all answer to everything.
