The Osprey is finally getting it's first tour of duty, it was announced today. After 18 years and $20 billion in development costs it will finally get to see combat. It will deploy to western Iraq in September of this year. The Osprey is intended to replace the CH-46 in Iraq and in the whole fleet by 2018. You can read the full story here.
