Hello

I submitted this photo the other day, but it appears that I got the serial number wrong. It is written as 10-03789, but it should be 12-03789. Is there a way this can be fixed on your end? Thank you.

Hi Aaron,

serial '10-03789' appears to be OK. This Chinook is ex '92-00403' and ex '70-15030'.
Serial '12-03789' does not show up in the production list.

Regards,

Johannes Berger

Can you give me a link to the production list? That would be IMMENSELY helpful going through my Chinook photos. According to aircraftdata.com, it should be a 12...Production number M.3789, and the Joe Baugher US Serial number page does not list any MH-47's of any type in the '10 year. This is what I based my information off of. Honestly, don't be too quick to change it though. I'm going to be getting more photos of these guys soon, and I hopefully will be able to check it out for myself, by seeing the registration in person.

Aaron,

here's a link which might be helpful for you (and others):

Also Scramble continues to be of huge value:

While on the topic of US Army serials, do either of you have a source for UH-60M serials? I'd like to upload photos of one I shot last month, whose "last five" is 20079, but I can't figure out the FY. Based on the serials in some of Aaron's -60M uploads, I expect it to be a 2006 or 2007 machine. However, I'm drawing blanks both in Scramble's database and on Joe Baugher's site.

(I also tried aircraftdata.com as mentioned in Aaron's post but I didn't find see serial data -- just wooden flooring ads!)

Hi Mark

I, for one, am not aware of any, although I have looked high and low everywhere I can think of. The ones I've been lucky enough to photograph, I've been lucky enough to have been right there and able to check myself. I'd be interested in finding something too, as it would help me as well. UH-60M's are becoming more common, so I expect to see more uploads coming in soon.

Hi gents,

Blackhawk serials are somehow quite tough to get. Lots of c/n's are still unknown.
Here's a (far from complete) listing of serials and c/n's:

http://www.uswarplanes.net/uh60.html

And again, the Scramble website might come in handy here:
