After 47 Years in storage in Calgary, Alberta. Canada. De Havilland Mosquito PR.35 RS700 / CF-HMS is to be restored to static display by the Calgary Mosquito Society. Built in 1946 by Airspeed Ltd Hampshire, England as a B.35. Delivered to De Havilland Aircraft Company, Leaveston in 1951 for conversion to PR.35 high-altitude, pressurized photo-reconaissance aircraft. Entered operational service with No. 58 Squadron, Benson in 1952.
Sold to Sparton Air Services Ltd, Ottawa, Ontario. Canada along with 9 other Mosquito's. RS 700 was allocated registration number CF-HMS. Operated with Sparton Air Services until Spring 1963.
Sold to Lynn Garrison, Calgary, Alberta 1963. Eventually placed in storage by the City of Calgary. City of Calgary awards the restoration of RS700 / CF-HMS to The Calgary Mosquito Society in 2011
