I was informed that the photo I recently uploaded was an F/A-18A++ instead of an A+. What is the difference between the A, A+, A++, B and C model? Whoever can correct the information and answer my questions thank you in advanced.

Yes, I would like to know as well. And is it an official McDonnell Douglas/Boeing designation or Navy?

I'm not the expert in USN and USMC F/A-18 Hornets, but I know only one +-type designation for an Hornet A-Model:

A+: A-Model upgraded with new AN/APG-73 Radar instead the old one (Hughes AN/APG-65). About 200 A-Models received this modification.

B: Twoseater of the A-Model
C: Singleseater with many improvements to the A-Model, with the AN/APG-73 Radar and upgraded avionics.
D: Twoseater of the C-Model

Muuuuhhh - welcome in the land of milk and chocolate
