Okay... I have a few question for you guys... If you have a min.
My Grandfather is 87 years old and he is starting to show signs of depression. I think he is relishing that his time could be running short in a could of year. He Flew in WWII and then went to work for Chance Vought and Nasa. He worked on several different aircraft thought the years and worked in the space programs up until his retirement in 1990. thought the last couple of years i have saved hundreds of pictures from this site and others like it. I have started to put together a power point slideshow presentation with music and some of the Aircraft from every era. From the Wright brother till today’s modern aircraft. I also have music to go along with it. I have been working on it for several weeks and hopefully it should be done before I return to college for the up coming semi. But I have already showed him a 1 min. test screening.. and he really enjoyed it. I am actually quite proud of my self on this.. but I must give credit to the individuals which pictures I used. But I have used close to 500 pictures... so I will not name names but i hope you all can feel some what accomplished. But what I do ask is for me to try to upload it for you guys when i am finally finished with it, so you guys can watch it too. I can’t make promises but I hope to have a version up loaded in the next couple of weeks if you want me too. I just hope I can find a way to upload it for you.. I will to my best to get a version to you guys, but if I can't I hope you wont get mad. You all have contributed to making an aging man happy again. Thanks, Chris. |

Chris, if it's for personal use, I'm sure the photographers would be more than happy to have their work showcased. If you can keep the copyright on the bottom of every photo, then they will get credit for the photo.
Here's what you can do. Put www.airfighters.com somewhere at the beginning or end of the movie and upload it to youtube. That way we'll get some publicity when people view the video. In a couple of weeks, we'll have a feature here in the Forums where you can embed videos from YouTube and the like, and they will play automatically here. And, of course, we'll have a videos section added to the forum. So, keep working on it and soon you can present it here. -Ray |

Thanks guys... most of the pic's i use still have the sites name or photographers name still on the picture... I also depends on what type of screen you would be watching it on.. On TV it kind of cut off a little bit of the pictrues but, on a computer screen you should be able to see the entire picture.

Yes... In an ironic twist our situations are very similar... I had totally forgot about your post "Roll Call." It totally slipped my mind. And i must apologize for that.
But, unfortunately at the moment i am running out of time.. I want to add an aviation art in but i am up against a time wall until school starts. I have several pictures saved of yours and i am trying to find a place to work them in. He love to paint and carve wooden sculptures so i thought it would be a good end to the vids. but i fear time will run out. but i will try..  Thanks for offering me your art works. I greatly appreciate it. |

Update: I am in the last few stages of the process... Adding music and then i will try to burn to DVD.. My fingers crossed.. lol. Keep you guys posted k.
