This movie is so epic! It`s nearly better than sex  The storyline is rather uninteresting, this movie lives only from it`s flying scenes. But it is the best movie about flying I`ve ever seen! I could watch the flying scenes for hours after hours! F-14 Tomcat 4-ever!:) |

 I saw this movie too. You are right! The story line a bit boring, but the flying scenes are the best!!!! I was so happy, when I saw flying this Mirages an Alpha Jets. I watch this movie 3 times yet. I think other good movie is the Flyboys.I tried to identify the Mirages and Alpha Jets about the registration numbers, but I didnt find anything. These are fake numbers?

As far as I know, the french air force gave a whole airbase with it`s battalion to the movie makers. So these are real jets with real military pilots.
The manufacturer of the Mirage, Dassault, made a special external tank, where they put 5 cameras inside, at different angles, to get this feeling of flying with a jet. The pilots where allowed to perform very low flying and very close flying, which is normally only allowed in a real fight. During my shift, last night, I watched this video about 50 times, and it still makes me wanna see it over and over again. It`s so beautiful, it nearly makes me cry.. My girlfriend says I`m nuts..

Wonderful. What a feeling!Not a problem, you are not the only.:wink My friends sometimes told me I went mad when I am learning aircraft reg numbers, c/ns and other datas.And what is your work, the TSO? Lets Fly! :) |
