Ok, we got the Upload Progress Bar back from the vendor today, and to save time they shipped it back to us overnight. It just needed some minor polishing, that's all. Just installed it and ready to go. Any problems, please report it here.

I am having the same problem as Tom and Carlos when uploading photographs. It can be a bit hit or miss,sometimes you can load a few then other times it struggles to upload one.
This has happend a few times in the past. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but when the upload bar wasn,t there I was able to upload without any problem.

Not too sure whether that would solve the problem as it is clear that the upload process 'loops' at around the 61kb stage of whatever file I try to upload then eventually it times out. Strange one I guess and for your info I've tried it with IE7, Avant browser and Firefox, all with the same outcome.

Well, despite turning the bar on or off, using different browsers, saving files under different names etc. I still encounter the same problem and only have approximately 10% success in attempting uploads. Dont know what else you can do (if anything) however I'm just letting you know that the problem is still there for me.

I'm still having the same problem, I can upload 1 or 2 and then thats it. I have tried logging in and out, clearing cookies etc but it's still the same. maybe it doesn't like my pictures and is self screening!

Tried uploading a few photos today at 13.00 GMT using Firefox and the upload just froze and locked up my PC, not even Ctrl-Alt-Delete would unlock it. This happened three times. Then I switched to Internet Explorer and it worked perfectly :O_o

Is it the same even if you turn the Progress Bar Off?

I think we can say for certain now that it is not the Progress Bar causing the hang-ups. As to exactly what it is, I'm not sure. This really has me puzzled as it works fine 99.9% of the time for almost everyone. I've had two other people review the script and they can't find anything wrong with it either. I guess it could be a combination of things coming together at the same time and causing the failed uploads.

For those of you having problems, can I suggest uploading the photos without entering any data and if successful, editing the photo afterwards to fix the data. This can be a bit of a time saver. I'm sorry for you guys having these problems. I'll let you know if by chance I find anything.

Guess what team it's me again!

After two weeks and a morale boosting evening where I managed to get a few pictures uploaded the problem is still there. Usual stuff, no matter the file size it 'hangs' at 61kb, all problems there no matter what the browser, whether I have other programs running or not etc. etc. Just wanted to keep the issue visible as it isn't going away for me!!

One thing I have noticed but may not be related is that when I am logged in my name does not appear at the bottom left of the page showing as a logged in member. John Higgins and I have talked this one over and we discussed re-registering i.e. kill this account and subscribe again. Thoughts? I would do this as long as it meant me not losing my pics already uploaded.

Just a quick note. I have been uploading my photographs ok over the past couple of weeks. If it doesn't upload the first time I just press the upload photo's at the top and try again which has worked on most occasions.
