The Pima Air & Space Museum offers a nice and clear blue sky, interesting aircraft and a good view on them. This B-36 is completed again since this photo was taken.
The B-36 is the largest bomber and the last piston engine powered bomber produced by the United States. A total of 383 Peacemakers were built between 1947 and 1954!
This was the last of SAC's "Big Sticks" to be built. When photographed in February 1987 she was on display in the Southwest Aerospace Museum adjacent to Carswell AFB. Now moved to Arizona and being restored at the Pima Aerospace Museum.
