J-055 fresh out of the paintshop and J-016 is about to go there to trade his beautifull paint scheme for the regular. This is the only moment these two jets were next to eachother in their special paint scemes.

Almost at the end of his carreer is this Block 10 F-16A photographed over the atlantic ocean on its way from Volkel AB in The Netherlands to Goose Bay, Canada. This a/c is now preserved at the Military Aviation Museum in Soesterberg.

This old Starfighter and the cockpit of D-8256 are being restored to look as good as possible by a group called Historische Vliegtuigen Volkel (Historic Jets Volkel). The are located in the only German build hangar left from WWII at the base.

An Iraqi AF MiG-21 seen on overhaul at the Flugzeugwerft in Dresden. Due to an embargo, this aircraft never returned to Iraq. The cockpitsection is preserved at a museum in Neuenkirchen, Germany. 8715 is also Iraqi.
