At the time of this photograph, this early Super Sabre was used as an instructional airframe by Utah State University. It would subsequently move to Hill AFB for inclusion in their museum.
9th FS/49th TFW; We were in the basket of a KC-10A and this guy came up alongside to see how the Navy did it. He gave us a nice wing flash (note the rudder deflection) when I showed a camera from the right seat of our EA-6B
VAQ-133 EA-6B near Sherman Pass in Washington State. AE620 is a Block 86 ICAP II Prowler. The squadron was disestablished about three months later. A second VAQ-133 would be established in 1996.
Built as an A3D-2T (TA-3B), modified for VIP role as VA-3B by the Alameda depot. Flown as VIP transport out of NAF Washington. Later considered a UA-3B at VAQ-33.
