Built as A-38 it was delivered to the Swiss AF in April 1939. In September 1954 the aircraft was sold as HB-UTR. Finally it was exported to Germany in April 1976, where it is still flying to date.

With the rear canopy removed and cockpit covered, Tr.9 MJ772 has a more authentic look, representing LF.IX PL488 of Commandant Jacques Andrieux, CO of 341 Squadron (GC III/2 Alsace) in October 1944. MJ772 served with this unit in the first months of 1944.

Sovjet ace Major Ivan N. Stepanenko of 4 IAP had a Yak-9T in these markings. Some original parts of crashed Yak-9 0917918 were incorporated in the construction of this Yak at the Strela works in Orenburg. '04' has an Allison V-1710 engine.

This G-14 Nachbau is allegedly based on the tail section of Bf 109G-14 Werknummer 462707, recovered from the crash site were 'Schwarze 2' of 14./JG 300, flown by Ofhr Karl-Heinz Schirmacher, came down on 21 November 1944.

Parts from the wreckage of D-9 400616 were incorporated in this Fw 190D-9 reconstruction. On 13 February 1945, Uffz Günther Koch of 9./JG 54, in 'Weiße 16', was shot down in combat with P-47 Thunderbolts of 22 FS/36 FG near Hübingen/Montabauer.
