This North American (Fiat-built) night fighter F-86K Sabre ("Q-283" of the Royal Netherlands Air Force) has now found a place at the Soesterberg museum.
Mustang 44-12125 was acquired by TH-Delft in 1946. In the 1960s, saved from scrapping by RNlAF, who transported the aircraft to FVM/Gilze-Rijen 1/12/1966. Repainted in colors of Netherlands East Indies Air Force as H-307. (Joe Baugher)
back in 1989 the main exhibition hall of the RNLAF museum got an overhaul. This left a few airplanes standing outside in the sun giving an unique view of the F-86K Sabre Dog
