The fading blue reminds of the time this former LKG-41 and 43 machine was on display at Flugplatz Ganderkesee near Bremen. Entering service as 'ED+240' with LKG-41 at Husum, the G-91 was reserialled 30+74 in 1968.

This Delfin entered service with the LSK in June 1966 and served JAG-11/JAG-25 at Bautzen until November 1980. After some years at Rothenburg as practise target '339' transferred to the museum in 2000. Behind is former Luftwaffe G-91R/3 30+74.

MiG-23BN 689 was part of the 1. Staffel of JBG-37 at Preschen from July 1979. The wings are seen here in take-off/landing position (16° sweep). The other two positions were 45° and 72° sweep for high-speed flight.

26+51 was one of 50 attrition replacement aircraft built by MBB. The Starfighter entered service with JaboG-33 at Büchel on 21 September 1971. The now fading Norm-83 'Lizard'-scheme was applied in 1984. 26+51 came to Rothenburg in June 2006.

Two Staffeln of JG-3 at Preschen operated the twin RD-9B engined MiG-19PM. This aircraft was built at No. 21 Plant (Gorki) and operated from 1959 until May 1969 with JG-3. After a spell at Bautzen, '335' came to Rothenburg, a former Sovjet Air Force base.

This Sabre 6 is on loan from the Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr, Dresden. 'JB-110' is in the markings of 1. Staffel JG-72 at Leck. The unit transferred to Oldenburg in 1964, becoming JBG-43.

'784' was delivered to JG-9 at Peenemünde in July 1975 before serving with the Preschen based JG-3. Last flight of this MiG-21MF was on the 19th December 1990, the delivery flight to the Rothenburg Air Museum, after only 1049 flying hours.
