Photo ID 79484 by David F. Brown. Private Private North American FJ 4B Fury, N400FS
Photo ID: 79484
This Fury ran off the same runway narrowing missing the Viper already down in the same area. The robustness of NAVY landing gear is apparent. The pilot was not injured. The Fury was towed back to the line on July 29 but did not fly.

Photo taken one minute after my previous image. Still much speculation in regard to the cause of the crash. The pilot was not "hot-dogging" as has been reported in the press. He made a couple of conservative passes prior to landing.
