This Phantom was delivered as an F-4J, but was later upgraded to F-4S standard. The 157293 is credited by some with shooting down a MiG-21 on June 21, 1972 although the pilots claim they were flying another plane at that time.
This aircraft was delivered to the Canadian Armed Forces and entered service on 20th Sept 1943. It served until 31st Oct 1946 and went to the Brazilian AF as FAB C-10A 6525. It is now at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum awaiting restoration.
Ordered by the USAF as 51-7176, but was delivered to the US Coast Guard as 7176. It is displayed here in a rather poor state at the Pate Museum of Transportation, just south of Fort Worth, TX.
On exhibit at USS Lexington Museum. This Phantom is one of the first production models. The differences of the nose radome, air intake and canopy are clearly visible.
This plane was initially built as a C-119F, but was later converted to C-119G standard. It is nowadays preserved at Pate Museum of Transportation, Fort Worth, TX.
