This aircraft was intended for the USN as 131650 but modified by Lockheed to a presidential transport. It became the personal aircraft of President Eisenhower and his wife named it 'Columbine III', as the Blue Columbine is the official flower of Colorado.

This aircraft was delivered to the USAF during 1957 as a 'normal' C-130A but converted to a Spectre gunship during 1968. She saw action in Vietnam, Haiti and Iraq before being retired to the National Museum of the USAF in 1995.
