A very interesting aircraft which literally dropped in for lunch at Lakeland in March 1990. She was originally ordered as a U-21A but constructed as a Guardrail I COMINT aircraft. She was subsequently converted to RU-21H Guardrail V standard.
An interesting sight at Lakeland in early 1990 was this HU-16D Albatross which was being restored to her U.S. Navy colours. Yes, I was allowed to sit in the pilot's seat!
This Convair SeaDart prototype was completed but never flown as a result of the cancellation of the programme for a high-performance supersonic naval fighter aircraft in 1955.

An interesting sight at Lakeland in early 1990 was this F-101F Voodoo. She was supplied to the RCAF in 1961 as 17400. She was returned to the USA and when seen here she was at the Sun & Fun Air Museum at Lakeland with no squadron markings.
