This Canadair CT-133 is correctly serialed as 21024 but wears spurious USAF markings. At this point she was N302FS, having been N157X after leaving the RCAF in 1965
Her former USAF serial 54-2091 is just visible beneath the paint on her tail fin, her Turkish serial 3-091 is on her nose. This 'Hun' was in store at Mojave in late 1993.
An unusual sight at Mojave in the late 80's was this unmarked Gloster Meteor NF.11. She is the example which is now on display in the Edwards AFB Museum. Originally with the Royal Air Force as WD592.
This old 'Hun' was retired by the 128th TFS/GA ANG in June 1976 and was placed in store at MASDC near Tucson. When photographed at Mojave in early 1987 she was being converted by TFSI to QF-100D standard.
The 'Snorting Missouri Mule' badge of the 110th TFS / 131st TFW Missouri ANG is still just visible on the fuselage of this newly converted QF-100D Super Sabre drone which was caught on the Mojave ramp in February 1987.
Scanned slide. Ex-Canadian Air Force and used as a target drone. Served with 6585th TG at Holloman AFB NM until Sept 1991. Was this airframe ever destroyed as a target drone? Who knows?
Scanned slide. Used for target towing duties, this aircraft was later sold and repainted in the markings of 25222 / FU-222. Sadly it was destroyed in an accident on 24th July 2006.
