Interesting markings, this is F-111F serial 71-0889 park code FV0282 marked as '70-889'. Like so many 'Varks she was last operated by the 524th FS, 27th FW out of Cannon AFB NM.
Seen during an AMARG tour in May 2008, F-4J Bu.No 153861 park coded 8F165, she was last operated by VMFAT-101 'Sharpshooters' as 'SH-3' out of MCAS El Toro and was retired to MASDC on 21st May 1984. Interesting what 24 years of sand blasting does!
