This C-121C was last operated by the 193rd TEWS Pennsylvania ANG and was retired to AMARC in 1977. She survived the scrappers torch because she contained too many bird droppings and she became the last of the military Connies to be stored at AMARC.

Quite a sight to see a line of F-105 Thunderchiefs, there were not that many in store by this time because the majority had been sent to NMIMT (New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology based at Socorro, NM. 61-0164 had been operated by the 149th TFS.

This C-130A Hercules was last operated by the 356th TAS / AFRES out of Rickenbacker, OH. She was retired September 1986 however didn't stay in store for long, becoming N132FF with the USFS in October 1988.

This was a line of Martin B-57 Canberras, the nearest to camera (R/H side) was EB-57E 55-4278 pcn BM 120 last operated by the 17th DSES out of Malmstrom AFB. The squadron was inactivated in 1979 and this aircraft entered store July 1979.

This is a mixed row of Grumman C-1A Traders and S-2 Trackers, nearest the camera is a C-1A Trader off the USS Lexington which entered store May 1986. She was scrapped November 2020.

I spotted this former USCG HC-130B Hercules 1454 last operated out of Sacramento, CA, and retired in June 1984. She was transferred to the Air Force in March 1985. Her fuselage left for the 542nd CTW at Kirtland AFB, NM, for use as a load trainer.

This was a Grumman A-6E Intruder as 'KC-09' last operated by VMAT(AW)-202 out of of Cherry Point MCAS, NC. In June 1996 she was consigned to a watery fate as an artificial reef at the Ponce de Leon Inlet, FL.

Formerly operated by VMA-542 "Flying Tigers" this AV-8C was retired to AMARC in April 1986. She was subsequently put on display on AMARC's 'Celebrity Row' and remained there for some years until disposed of to Falcon Range, Fort Sill, OK in 2004.

This was a Lockheed C-130D Hercules last operated by the 139th TAS / 109th TAG NY ANG out of Schenectady Airport, NY. She was retired in February 1985 having been replaced by the C/LC-130H and has since been scrapped by HVF West.

This SP-2H Neptune arrived at AMARC in 1974/75 and is still on display here 35 years later. Her 'PJ' code indicates that she was operated by VP-69, a Reserve unit out of Whidbey Island NAS, WA.
