On display in Hangar 3 at Duxford is XS576/E-125. The FAW.2 went to sea with 899 Squadron, noted aboard HMS Eagle in 1967 as 'E-126'.

By February 1917, this B.E.2c, built by Ruston, Proctor and Co of Lincoln, served with 50 (Home Defence) Squadron at Swingate Down (Dover). The aircraft came to the IWM in 1919. Serial 2699 is on the undersides of the lower wings only.

Shortly after Flying Legends 2018 WG655 transferred from The Fighter Collection to Shaun Patrick. The Sea Fury was reregistered G-INVN on 25th July 2018.

FE992 entered RCAF service in 1943 as RCAF-20208, flying with the Service Flying Training Schools at RCAF Moncton, New Brunswick, and later at RCAF Weyburn, Saskatchewan. After the war FE992 became Fv16047 with the Swedish Air Force.

G-THUN, flown here by Stuart Goldspink, has been finished in the colours of a 492nd FS P-47D, operating from Station 347 Ibsley at the time of the Normandy invasion. The 48th FG moved to the bridgehead on 18th June to strip A-4 near Deux-Jumeaux.

PT462 has been finished in her authentic wartime c/s. The Spitfire served, as an HF.IXe, with 253 Squadron from several Italian airfields, including Brindisi andTreviso. PT462, converted to a two-seater in the 1980's, is now based at Duxford with ARCo.

JG891 took to the air again on 6th July 2018. The Spitfire in the markings of LF.Vc JK879 of 249 Squadron at RAF Takali (Ta Qali), Malta, as flown by F/Sgt John 'Jack' Hughes, RCAF, in 1943. Of note is the 'Saint'-emblem and the 26 bombing symbols.

C.4K-99 is in her former Battle of Britain movie c/s as 'Gelbe 7' and made her first flight on 3rd May 2108 from Air Leasing's base at Sywell.

Dan Friedkin at the controls of P-51D 44-74391. The Mustang is in the markings of Capt. Henry W. 'Baby' Brown, 354th FS, 355th FG, flying from nearby Steeple Morden. He was shot down and captured on 3 October 1944.

Buchon C.4K-105 returned to the air on 28th June, 2018, in a Luftwaffe c/s, representing a Bf 109F-4 of III./JG 52 flown by Edmund 'Paule' Rossmann from Mironovka airfield, Ukraine, in September 1941.

C.4K-112 is one of only 2 two-seat HA-1112M4L's constructed for the Spanish Air Force. She is seen here as 'Rote 11' in a fictious Luftwaffe c/s, similar to that worn in the summer of 1968 during the filming of The Battle of Britain movie here at Duxford.

The red band on the cowling and red rudder identified the aircraft of the 492nd FS. The colours for the other two units of the 48th FG were blue (493rd FS) and the 494th FS: yellow.
