Constructed in 1941 and served with USAAF as '41-0565' and later with the Swedish Air Force as '16269'. Nowadays painted in Dutch Navy scheme. Moments later I'd be flying this beauty myself, which would be my first flying experience in an actual warbird.

Former Dutch Air Force 'R-111' at Vliegend Museum Seppe. Unfortunately this airframe was lost on 21 June 2019, when it collided mid-air with Piper Super Cub PH-RED. Both occupants of PH-VCY were killed.
This aircraft belonged to JG3 in 1943 when they where based at Schiphol, The Netherlands. It was lost on 4 Dec 1943, in action with P-47 Thunderbolts. Now preserved at the Vliegend Museum Seppe.
