A high speed photographer - a Belgian Air Force Mirage 5BR - from 42 recce sqn. in the static at Kleine Brogel AFB. The photo-compartiment in the nose is in the open position. Scan from slide.
A RAF Phantom FGR2, adorned with a beautiful c/s, in the static at KB. Note that it is positioned on RRR-plates (Rapid Runway Repair), used to extend the apron area during the show days.
One of the first F-15A Eagles I ever saw! While on a day-trip in the Netherlands during the late seventies, I made a quick -unplanned - stop at Soesterberg while passing by and there was lots of aviation activity ;-)! Scanned from slide.
"Cold as ice" and with a little bit of snow on its canopy and horizontal stabilizers. Unfortunately, this was the only German Air Force F-4F Phantom II (38+14, cn4646) that I saw during this winterday at Wittmund.
The last German Air Force F-4F Phantom II (38+28) that received depot level inspection at the aircraft maintenance facility at Jever. The special c/s also remembers the 45th anniversary of the Luftwaffeninstandhaltungsgruppe 21 (LIG).
The "dump" at Jever AB. Several hulls of German Air Force Phantoms and Tonados can be seen. Tail close-up of identifiable F-4F Phantom II is "37+44" (cn 4456; USAF serial number 72-1154). What a sad sight...
A student pilot (prom.75B) is preparing his flight with a BAF SF-260M on the apron at Goetsenhoven, while a S-58C (reg. B14 cn: 58.850 call-sign:OT-ZKN) is parked in the background. In the air is SV-4B (code:V4, cn: 1146) practising for the coming airshow
