This Spitfire - operated by Stichting Koninklijke Luchtmacht Historische Vlucht - is about to land after performing at the "Luchtmachtdagen 2010" at Gilze-Rijen.
This Beech was built in 1952 by the Beechcraft factory in Wichita, Kansas. It was built for the Canadian Armed Forces and was used as a VIP transport and navigation trainer between 1952 and 1968. It is seen here at the 2004 Volkel AB airshow.
Firmly tied-down to the Texel turf. R-137 aircraft is operated by KLu's Historical Flight, based at Gilze-Rijen. The GPLV (Groep Lichte Vliegtuigen/Light Aircraft Group) emblem is on the fin.
