during its entire career J-2302 was used as a test bed. Here it is seen with the first version of the canars. Althoug being a IIIS it is fitted with a IIIRS camera nose. Note also the vast number of mission markings.

MIRO's 331 and 335 prepares for a small display in the valley called 'Ziger-Schlitz' in swiss german language - 'Ziger' is a cheese produced in the aerea and 'Schlitz' is meaning the small valley of the canton of Glarus.

10 years before this picture was taken, MIRO 306 was damaged due to a collission with trees near La Brevine. But normally, those Mirages where flying higher, up to 26'000m. Only the Recce-Mirages III RS's (called AMIR) where regulary flying on threelevel.

Take-Off like an Hornet ! With the help of eight JATO-rockets, MIRO 303's climbs with 3600 kg extraboost. Those rockets work only for max. 14 seconds, but are very impressive.
