Acting as a background to the 70th BoB anniversary at the 2010 RIAT was this Hurricane mock up painted as P3873 as 'YO-H'. She normally stands guard at the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington.

This full-scale model is in honour of F/O James C.F.Hayter, 605 Squadron. He gained his wings at the Marlborough Aero Club before joining the RNZAF and RAF. He fought with distinction in the Battle of Britain. He was shot down in P2916 on 26 October 1940.

This Full Scale Model(FSM) of Hurricane I V7313 represents the aircraft of P/O Tom Neil of 249 Squadron in early September 1940. At that time the machine was still wearing 56 Squadron code 'US-F'. The monument was unveiled by W/C Neil on 19 April 2009.
