Sp-2H 214 from the left side. Parked behind the early warning (transient) ramp behind the big hangar 885 the doors of which originally had round opening holes to facilitate working on B-36 bombers with the tails stuck outside the opening!
A VP-18 Neptune Photographed at the 1963 Reykjavík Airshow. Not very many color photos of Neptunes in the so called Seaplane Grey scheme are available. This was my first decent aircraft photo. Taken on a 6x9 cm color negative film.
Another of the Dutch Neptunes in for a visit and some cooperation with the USNavy resident P-3C squadrons. The fin of a Loftleiðir DC-8 visible in front of the old civilian terminal.
Another Tucson scrapyard Neptune seen 4th May 2008, this is SP-2H Bu.No 145917 as 'LZ-14' last operated by VP-94, a Reserve unit out of New Orleans NAS.
