FX760 was with 112 Squadron at Cutello/San Angelo and Guidonia, Italy, in June, 1944, before transferring to No.3 Squadron, RAAF. FX760 and her pilot, W/O Halpin, were lost on 21 August 1944. This composite is based on RAAF Kittyhawk IV A29-556.

This Kittyhawk was manufactured in 1943 with USAAF serial '42-104827'. It later served with the Royal Australian Air Force as 'A29-414' where it was operated by 78 Squadron in New Guinea. It is now part of the Vintage Wings of Canada collection.

A very nice formation of warbirds at the 2012 Gatineau airshow. The Curtiss P-40N is closely followed by a Hurricane (CF-TPM) and a Corsair (C-GVWC)

This Kittyhawk represents a 112 Sq machine as these operated in the desert in the fourties.

Another classic, this time from the Curtiss stable. She represents Kittyhawk IV (which is a P-40N) serial FX760. I never could get my head around the difference between a Warhawk, Tomahawk and a Kittyhawk!
