This 437th MAW Starlifter was one of six arrived that day in two flights of three, all performing fighter mode left breaks. On the right side one of the aircraft is ready to turn for final.
Back to an October 1999 AMARC tour, this very complete Lockheed C-141B Starlifter was on display on 'Celebrity Row'. She was last operated by the 437th AW out of Charleston, SC.
Back to October 1999 and this was C-141B 66-0205 marked CR0031, she was last operated by the 57th AS / 97th AMW out of Altus AFB, OK. Entered AMARC January 1997 and disposed of September 2003. She was not in good shape when I took this photo.
October 1999 and this is C-141B Starlifter 66-7946 last operated by the 97th AMW out of Altus AFB, OK. I love Starlifters and so sad that they have all been scrapped.

Landing at the 1987 International Air Tattoo this C-141B Starlifter was operated by the 437th MAW out of Charleston, SC. She was flown by an all - female crew, accompanied by an RAF staff officer.
