Czech AF L-39ZA Albatros (3903) from 213rd Training Squadron is departing from mosnov’s RWY 04 to home base at Caslav. Crews of the last four L-39s from 213nd Squadron mostly used a callsign „SNAKE“.
Pair of L-39ZA´s from 222. vlt (training sq.) / 22. zL (AFB) Namest n/. Oslavou captured during opening flypast of the Czech air force on CIAF 2007. Under wings are L-39ZA´s equipped with "small" fuel tanks about 150 lt.
L-39ZA assigned to 222. vlt (training sq.) / 22. zL (AFB) Namest n/. Oslavou leaving the apron during exercise "Flying Rhino 2010". Under wings is equipped with "big" fuel tanks 350 lt. Since end of the 2010 is WFU and now stored in Caslav.
Czech AF Albatros (5017) from 222. vlt is departing to VVP Libava military area. During exercise Flying Rhino 2010 were used areas AWA (for air refueling), JERBOA 1-6 (north of the Namest AB) and RAT 1-9 (west of the Namest AB).
Another Albik (2344) from 222.vlt is decelerating after landing on RWY31, exercise Flying Rhino 2010. Interesting is glossy front fuselage, while the rear part is matt. Czech AF L-39s mostly used only two "large" 350 litres ext. fuel tanks during FR 2010.
Czech AF Albatros (2415) from 222.vlt is taking off into next sortie during exercise Flying Rhino 2010. This Albik was damaged on 15 September 2007 during air collision with another L-39ZA (probably 2436) at flypast of NATO Day airshow in Ostrava airport.
Lithuanian Albik's crew is departing for mission at "JERBOA" area, exercise Flying Rhino 2010. This L-39ZA (Nr. 17) crashed on 30 august 2011 after a collision with a French Mirage 2000C near the Zokniai AB. Both pilots fortunately ejected safely.
L-39ZA is taking off for mission over shooting range Jordan in VVP Jince with two bombs OFAB-100, exercise FR 2010. This aircraft was 16.12. 2010 lost in accident near Biskupice village, pilots kpt. Michal Kudyn and kpt. Stanislav Stojanik ejected safely.
