Ex-Romanian AF Delfin wearing colours and Black Star markings of some imaginary Air Force, along with a spurious serial. Parked in a field alongside the A41, used as an attraction for the owner's business.
Part of the double act Red Star and the Dragon. Red Star, an L-29 Delfin seen displaying the USA livery (as opposed to its USSR livery on the opposite side) at NAS Brunswick.
After overhaul in 2001 L-29's of the Slovakia Air Force appeared in this attractive color scheme. The paint used for this job was a leftover from overhaul of Egyptian aircraft. In 2003 the L-29 was completely withdrawn from use.
You can see the aircraft in Pinter Muvek Military Museum, Military Technology Park. The aircraft served in the Air Force of the Hungarian People's Army.
